Skills Building and Improved Employability

INTAJ 1

The first phase of Intaj project took place in Beqaa in February 2017. In which it delivered training to the youth of Beqaa that encompassed the following topics: CV writing and interview skills, Self-management, Building Confidence and Resilience, Presentation Skills, and Leadership Skills. This training program took 22 hours in total. The aim of this training is to give the youth the needed skills to prepare them for the workplace. We successfully trained more than 60 participants and more than 40 participants were able to secure internships and job opportunities.

INTAJ 2: Social Animators

The second phase of Intaj project took place in Beqaa in November 2017. This phase focused more on enhancing social cohesion between host and refugee community and promoting tools of resilience among both communities. In which it delivered training to the youth of Beqaa that encompassed the following topics: Conflict Transformation and Resilience, Value of Arts in Traumas, Painting and Crafting, Story Telling by Puppets, Creative Drama for expression, Hand expression for arts, Presentation Skills, Labor law and Life Skills. This training program took 60 hours in total. We able to successfully provide more than 25 participants with the necessary skill set to find jobs in the NGO sector. And provided them with key skills for dealing with beneficiaries in the field.
